What is HampHack?
HampHack is a dynamic 72-hour hackathon designed specifically for students from the Five College Consortium in the Pioneer Valley. It's an event where students can work together to create solutions to real-world problems, with the help of experienced mentors and resources.
Will there be food?
Of course! Food is free, and we will try our best to accommodate for participants with food sensitivities, just let us know!
I don't know coding, can I still come!
Absolutely! We encourage absolute beginners to participate and learn new things! We will have mentors that can help participants with their project.
I don't want to code, can I still participate?
Yup! You don't have to code. Some groups might need your talent!
Who can participate in HampHack?
HampHack is open to all students from the Five College Consortium in the Pioneer Valley, regardless of their major or skill level. We encourage students from diverse backgrounds and disciplines to come together and collaborate on innovative solutions. Students from other institutions are welcome!
Do I need to have prior experience?
Not at all! HampHack is designed to be a welcoming and supportive environment for students of all levels, from beginner to advanced. Our mentors will be available to guide you through the process and help you learn new skills.
What can I expect to get out of HampHack?
HampHack is an incredible opportunity to challenge yourself, learn new skills, and network with like-minded students and mentors. You'll have the chance to work on a real-world problem and create a working prototype of your solution, which could potentially turn into a larger idea or startup. It's a weekend filled with creativity, innovation, and fun!
